Marvel Games has many upcoming games including Insomniac’s Spider-Man, TellTale’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and the recently announced multi-game Avengers Project from Square Enix. While no specifics from those games were discussed, today during a keynote at the D.I.C.E. Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer mode debuts in a new trailer from BioWare, showing off some 4-player cooperative gameplay. Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer iterates on what was initially introduced in Mass Effect 3, which is a class-based, squad-based “Horde” style mode. Gameplay involves fighting waves of enemies of varying difficulty, earning XP and Credits, and then building characters stronger through weapon, mods, and ability upgrades. As with Mass Effect 3, players will pick a unique species and class combination, like, for example, a Krogan Soldier or a Human Engineer, prior to a match....

Just recently, Monolith Productions worked with IGN to release a fresh gameplay walkthrough video detailing aspects of the forthcoming action-RPG Middle-earth: Shadow of War that shows off the Gondorian city of Minas Ithil, and even offers a peek at the title’s Nemesis system. During Xbox’s E3 Press Conference, Minecraft: Dungeons, the cooperative RPG title set in the Minecraft universe, released its first gameplay trailer today. The new trailer showed a number of gameplay mechanics, what type of environments players will jump into, as well as a release window for the game. While it was originally announced back in Fall 2018, Minecraft: Dungeons looks to offer a similar gameplay style along the likes of Diablo with its isometric-RPG style....

Minecraft Ultimate is an organization that regularly holds Hunger Game events, where content creators are pitted against each other in massive battles while trying to raise money for various charities. The next big showdown takes place on October 17 at 4pm EST and is being sponsored by Wasder, an online social gaming platform. To date, the events have raised over $75,000 for charity, and Minecraft Ultimate is hoping to host at least 4 events each year to increase that number further....

John Carpenter’s The Thing may just be one of the most influential cult hits of all time, being remembered as a brilliant horror film and referenced by countless other properties, including classics like Resident Evil and The X-Files. Just recently, the creator himself suggested that he may be returning to the property, hinting at his own potential involvement with Jason Blum’s The Thing reboot. There wasn’t much else said about the reboot or what direction it’s heading in, but the involvement of the original creator would be a nice sign that the project at least has his blessing....
