DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the stoner little brother of the CW DC television universe, is on its way back in May, and Den of Geek is psyched to give you an exclusive first look at the new poster. In keeping with the show’s themes, it’s a subdued period piece. The poster features all the returning cast members – Caity Lotz as White Canary Sara Lance; her girlfriend, Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan); Matt Ryan as the platonic ideal of John Constantine; Nick Zano as the heart and soul (and liver) of the Waverider, Shotgun Nate Heywood; Tala Ashe’s Zari Tarazi; and Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave....

More than 40 years after the original, Star Wars is getting a new Holiday Special on Disney+. But there’s a twist. Fans hoping for live-action Wookiee shenanigans will instead get a new adventure in LEGO animation. As revealed by USA Today, the 45-minute Lego Star Wars Holiday Special will reunite Rey, Finn, Poe, and other characters for a new Life Day celebration that nods to the original Holiday Special from 1978....

Little Nightmares 2 is performing incredibly well, but it seems that plans for a sequel have been put on the backburner. The Embracer Group – the parent company of Tarsier Studios – revealed today that the studio will be pivoting to “focus on creating new IPs.” Bandai Namco is actually the owner of the Little Nightmares franchise, meaning the game has little impact on the Embracer Group’s finances. Because of this, it’s in the company’s best interest to develop new sources of revenue through new IPs....

News of Chadwick Boseman’s sudden passing has shocked colleagues and fans across the globe. His close family posted on the actor’s Instagram of the actor’s death due to colon cancer, and how he had been battling the disease for the past four years....

A lot of the technology in Mass Effect that’s taken for granted actually comes from an extinct race called the Protheans. The races in Mass Effect didn’t become technologically advanced enough to build the Mass Relays or the Citadel — other species that existed long ago actually did it for them. Usually, races that become technologically advanced have just found a Prothean artifact (like the one that humans found on Mars) and copied the tech as best they could....

Mass Effect 3 gets a bit of a raw deal. It’s judged by history almost entirely on its final half hour, as if the rest of the story, the brilliant send-offs it affords so many of its characters, and the vastly improved gameplay ceases to matter. I don’t think I need to argue for Mass Effect 3’s greatness too much though - playing the trilogy back to back, the game can speak for itself....

PSN users will be able to upgrade PS Home today, November 3. This enormous update integrates games, quests, community events and user-generated content, all the while providing players with additional navigation, shopping, socialization, and entertainment options....

Sony already offered its own streaming service called PlayStation Now, while just last week, Google announced its game streaming plans called Project Stream. So with these major players already doing game streaming, it seems only fitting that Microsoft is now throwing its hat into the ring with a streaming service of its own. In 2010, Microsoft released its motion-control camera system Kinect for Xbox 360. A response to the motion control gaming made popular by the Nintendo Wii, Kinect would be Microsoft’s way of encouraging casual gamers to consider its console over its rival’s system. Then in 2013, Microsoft released an updated version of the technology, Kinect 2.0, for the Xbox One but unfortunately it never quite reached the success that the Xbox 360-based original did....

Minecraft, quite possibly the most impactful game to come from the 2010s, is heavily centered around player creativity in construction, as well as exploration, both above ground and deep underground. Minecraft Live 2020 is now over. The video presentation that replaced this year’s MineCon convention was full of talks with Mojang developers and teasers for upcoming Minecraft content. One exciting aspect of the show was the community vote. This year the vote was for a brand new Minecraft mob, and Mojang offered up three unique choices for Minecraft fans to choose from. Minecraft has just released its latest massive content update, this time bringing all sorts of new blocks, mobs, and biomes to its most nefarious dimension. Among the many great and innovative changes being made to The Nether comes something that most never would have dreamed of: the developers want players to be able to actually live in the Nether. Until now, doing that was virtually impossible. Dedicated players could make it work, but it would be surviving, not thriving....

If the $21 price point for the current PC and Mac versions of Mojang’s Scrolls has been a big obstacle to checking the game out, then listen up. In a Thursday blog post published on the Scrolls website, Mojang developers Owen Hill and Mans Olson explained that the game would be getting a substantial price cut. As the post explains, Scrolls will soon be getting ported over to tablets for easy mobile play....

Epic Games has released a tease for the Fortnite Season 3 events launching in-game tomorrow, June 17.
