Kongregate has announced the addition of three popular mobile titles from Disney and Pixar Games to its ever-growing iOS and Android lineup. Maleficent Free Fall, Inside Out Thought Bubbles, and Where’s My Water? 2 are becoming part of the Kongregate family and will receive new content and in-game events to keep their communities thriving. Combined, the three games have pulled in over 224 million downloads – Where’s My Water? 2 even landed an Editor’s Choice award on the App Store....

Fans have long speculated what’s going on between League of Legends’ Leona and Diana, but Riot has finally confirmed that the two were (still are?) dating. In a new story celebrating Pride Month, Riot detailed how The Sun and The Moon fell in love. If you’re a League of Legends player, chance are you’re familiar with both Diana and Leona already - as they’re two of Riot’s older champions. League of Legends has undergone a series of lore reboots, but the stories for the duo have long hinted that something may be going on there....

After the surprise success of Life is Strange, all eyes are on Dontnod Entertainment and its next project, Vampyr. The lineup for RTX has been revealed, and Den of Geek will be bringing Talking Strange to the festival for a live panel. “RTX Austin, Texas’ largest celebration of gaming, podcasting, and animation, is thrilled to announce highlights from its program of panels, screenings, special guests, evening events, and convention floor activations. RTX is returning to Austin July 1-3 this summer after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. RTX will take over downtown Austin with programming at the Austin Convention Center and the Hilton hotel, special events at the Paramount, Stateside, and Bluestarlite theaters, and the Historic Scoot Inn....

But the team at Piranha Games has decided to delay both and it’s because of Cyberpunk 2077....

Although Metacritic is best known for its Metascore system that aggregates review scores from major outlets, it also gives a voice to fans with its user score column. The site’s user score policies found themselves in the public eye during 2020 when The Last of Us Part II was bombarded with negative reviews within minutes of the game’s release. The fan response shone a spotlight on the site’s user score system, and its policies were changed shortly after; the site now makes its users wait over 24 hours before submitting a review, in hopes that players will play the game for themselves before contributing a score....

During GDC 2017, Microsoft announced the Xbox Live Creators Program, making it the company’s second big announcement at the event after it unveiled the Xbox Game Pass. The program allows “everyone” to use an Xbox One to develop and release a game for the platform, saying that Xbox Live Creators offers “fully open game publishing” and that developers will be able to “rapidly publish” games to Xbox One and Windows 10....

Halo Infinite’s delay was crushing for fans of the FPS franchise and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X launch. Master Chief’s new chapter is still a bit away from completion, but the release of Jazwares’ new action figures may help to ease the long wait ahead. In addition to the aforementioned collections, Microsoft teamed up with Mega Construx last year to establish the “Defense Point Showdown” toy set - which allegedly revealed the death of a major character....

An all new trailer from Middle-earth: Shadow of War was released today by Warner Bros. Interactive showing off how the updated Nemesis System creates more compelling orcs. That’s not just orc enemies, however, which Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor players are familiar with; Middle-earth: Shadow of War’s new orc followers add an extra layer of fun to the Nemesis System. The “Orc Tales” trailer features four short looks into the lives of four orcs, each told from their own point of view....

As it stands, Minecraft is constantly growing in popularity, and it’s easy to see why. The creation-focused title offers players free reign to build whatever they want in a large, open environment, with some users devoting years to building entire cities. The game has proved to be such a useful tool that versions have even been created for educational purposes, with plans in place to give free copies of Minecraft to every secondary school in Northern Ireland....
