In the first Mass Effect game, the gamer plays as commander Shepard, the first human ever to be allowed into the Spectres. This is an elite task force that answers exclusively and directly to the Citadel Council and takes responsibility for maintaining galactic peace at any cost. With the Village & Pillage update for 1.14, Minecraft expanded the usefulness of the villages while also adding another threat for the passive villagers: the illagers. These grey-skinned angry mobs can be found either randomly spawning as a patrol group near a player or standing ground near one of their tall outposts. These illagers aren’t meant to just be a nuisance to players, however. They can and will attack villagers if they are nearby them....
One of the special decorative blocks in Minecraft is terracotta and its glazed variant. Plain terracotta has a nice variety of washed-out natural colors which look fantastic in a ton of different builds. They’re a nice alternative to the bright and vibrant colors of concrete blocks or even wool blocks. Terracotta is, however, still relatively new to the game and isn’t always used to its maximum potential by players. Jet Lancer is a new 2D multi-directional shmup that basically wants you to do your best Top Gun impression. Your goal is to fly about the sky blasting Sky Pirates to pieces while not crashing into the ground or other aircraft. It’s definitely reminiscent of older shmups, but Jet Lancer does a fairly solid job of standing out as an enjoyable modern addition to this genre, although sometimes the difficulty may be set a bit too high....
Microsoft has unveiled the lineup of free titles for Xbox Live Gold subscribers next month and it’s kind of a mixed bag. For Games with Gold in June 2021, subscribers will receive Injustice: Gods Among Us, Neogeo Battle Coliseum, The King’s Bird, and Shadows: Awakening. If you’re scratching your head with those names, I don’t blame you. The last two, in particular, were indie hits that mostly flew under the radar....
