His charming, honest cry of “fuck the Oscars” made for one of the ceremony’s biggest moments, and cemented Fares as a regular at the show....

Microsoft has announced the selection of free games that will be available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers for July 2020 and they aren’t so bad. Saints Row 2 is the clear winner here, but WRC 8 isn’t a bad get for Xbox One owners. The other two games are…not so great? I can’t even answer that question since I’ve never heard of Dunk Lords or Juju. Those seem like completely random picks to flesh out the selection to four games....

King of Fighters 15 has been dropping character trailers on a near weekly basis since the reveal of Shun’Ei in early January. That trend has shown no signs of slowing down, as Chizuru Kagura’s trailer debuted today during the Second Annual Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable. This latest King of Fighters video follows the same blueprint of previous character trailers, highlighting Chizuru’s elegant fighting style. Chizuru utilizes mirror images of herself to surprise and trap opponents....

You may have noticed a few notable characteristics of The Suicide Squad’s King Shark. For starters, he does not have shredded abs as typically portrayed in the comics. Also, he’s got a somewhat more streamlined head compared to the hammerhead design you’ll find in books. Apparently, there’s a reason for that, according to movie director James Gunn. “I did tests with the hammerhead design, which I love & originally thought I’d use,” Gunn revealed on Twitter....

Screens from the upcoming Xbox & Bethesda E3 event have leaked, suggesting three titles will be added to Xbox Game Pass soon - Doom (2016), The Evil Within 2, and Fallout 3. No date is included in the leak, but it’s likely the games will be added shortly after the showcase, if not immediately. No other information has leaked from the showcase aside from the Game Pass titles, so it’s likely that several more surprises are in store during the 90 minute long event....

About a couple of weeks ago, TT Games and Warner Bros. Interactive announced the inclusion of the Inhumans with a trailer detailing their role in the forthcoming action-adventure game LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. Now the developer and publisher have provided even more information about the title by releasing a brand new story trailer for the game, and have shared details regarding its season pass. As seen below in the story trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, the footage focuses on the canine, Cosmo the Spacedog – a telepathic Soviet cosmonaut, Knowhere’s chief of security, and the Guardians of the Galaxy’s ally – who is tasked with assembling a team of the best super heroes to take on the super villain known as Kang the Conqueror....

Wizards of the Coast have announced the next round of changes to several formats of play for Magic: The Gathering with some much needed bans and restrictions to cards that are limiting the development of a new meta relative to before the arrival of the Core Set 2021. The following cards have been banned or restricted as of August 3: Standard Wilderness Reclamation is banned. Growth Spiral is banned. Teferi, Time Raveler is banned....

Hopeful fans will no longer be able to beta test Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer mode, after BioWare today announced the cancellation of the technical test. Players have been registering for the Mass Effect: Andromeda technical test via the game’s official website for some time now, however those registrations will now be scrapped. News of the cancellation came as part of BioWare’s PAX East reveals. The good news is that, while BioWare no longer has any plans for a wide-spread online public test, it will be letting the public play Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer – in a live setting....

Knowledge of the Xbox One’s Smart Match has been elusive since Microsoft announced the feature, along with the next-generation console, earlier this May.
