Mojang’s Minecraft is a creative sandbox that has been used to make untold numbers of impressive projects, from large-scale recreations of locales like Skyrim’s Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary to technical feats like making other video games work within Minecraft — including Minecraft itself. One particularly unique project is attempting to do both of those things at once by capturing most of the locations and mechanics in Bungie’s 2014 looter shooter Destiny using the sandbox game....

Joe Rogan is often in the spotlight for his broad range of guests on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, and today, he is trending on Twitter for comments made about video games. His words are causing a stir online, but it seems that a lot people are taking his statement out of context and not considering the personal experience of the speaker. The Controversial Statement Rogan was interviewing Joe De Sana, well-known CEO and founder of both the Spartan and Death Race, which are among the most physically challenging activities that people can get into, or at least we can say that about the latter....

John Cena, WWE superstar and star of the upcoming Bumblebee movie, was in attendance at the San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend to promote the movie. While meeting with press, Cena did a short interview with the JoBlo Movie Trailers editor-in-chief, where the former WWE Champion told the reporter’s son to stop playing so much Fortnite. In the interview, Cena asks the reporter’s son to “take a break” from Fortnite, a game that he apparently plays excessively....

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory’s ending promises that the future of Kingdom Hearts will give Kairi and Aqua a unique dynamic compared to the rest of the guardians of light (spoilers ahead). During Melody of Memory’s secret movie, Yen Sid asks Kairi if she would like to resume her training as a Keyblade wielder, as she stopped practicing for a year to search her memory for clues on Sora’s whereabouts. Kairi wants to continue her training, but she requests Aqua take over as her teacher....

Kingdom Hearts modders Exiblade7 and Luseu have been able to create the fight that many fans wanted but never saw in KH3 – Kairi vs. Master Xehanort. In the excellent Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC ReMind, Kairi became a playable character and fought alongside Sora. She had her own moveset, and it was adopted in a short boss battle. Now, these modders have been able to bring her back for a data battle against the almighty Master Xehanort....

Knockout City received an official gameplay trailer this week, highlighting its frantic, over-the-top, dodgeball action. The three-minute video also displays a bit of the game’s off-kilter humor and deep customization options. Our early preview of Knockout City found it to be an interesting combination of twitch gameplay and goofy antics – a description that still fits with its latest showing. Kazuki Takahashi, the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh, has passed away at age 60. “Manga artist Kazuki Takahashi, best known as the creator of the Yu-Gi-Oh series (and the popular card game it’s based on), has been found dead. Takahashi began his manga career in 1982, and for the next 14 years struggled to find success on titles like Fighting Hawk and Tennenshoku Danji Buray. In 1996, however, he released Yu-Gi-Oh, and the rest was history....

Little Nightmares 2 is a haunting work of art. It perfectly balances a dark landscape and heavy subject matter with brain-teasing puzzles and enjoyable mechanics. This game is equal parts an experience that the player lives through as well as art that they get to witness. The characters, from the enemies to the protagonists themselves, all meld into one horror that is something only this franchise is able to pull off so delicately, unsettlingly, and perfectly....

Today, Wizards of The Coast released the latest Banned and Restricted list for Magic: The Gathering. While these lists are always contentious, players have been more upset than usual with how the recent list treated the Pioneer format.
