The first week of LEC Superweek has broken multiple viewership records for the League of Legends competitive scene. The first week of the LEC Summer Split event was deemed a “Superweek” due to there being 3 matches played across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as opposed to 2 matches on Saturday and Sunday for weeks 2-7. The 8th and final week will be another “Superweek” just like the first. The three days making up week 1 of LEC reached a total of 13,454,941 hours watched....

Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham headlines new cast members for Hocus Pocus 2, heading to Disney+ next fall. “Now, this is the kind of Halloween news we love to see: Hannah Waddingham is joining the cast of Hocus Pocus 2! The Emmy winner, best known for playing Rebecca on the smash-hit series Ted Lasso, will be playing an undisclosed role in the highly anticipated sequel. There are now rumors that Matt Damon will be making an appearance in the upcoming Marvel film Thor: Love and Thunder. He and his family arrived in Sydney, where filming is set to start, on January 17th 2021 by private jet and will be quarantining privately. Sydney is the filming location for Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth Thor focused movie and second directed by Taika Waititi. Along with Australian star Chris Hemsworth as Thor, other characters from previous Thor films are set to return, with Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) currently in quarantine and Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) having already been in Australia for some time....

MechWarrior is one of the greatest video game franchises ever and if you missed out on it, you missed out big time. The original MechWarrior came out in 1989 but its sequel, MechWarrior 2 is what really launched the series, offering a highly detailed and varied 3D combat sim with mechs. The visual novel genre has never been one that I’ve ever really taken to. I appreciate them for what they offer in the way of an interactive reading experience, and I’ve even had the urge to check out some of the titles that we’ve reviewed here at TheGamer. I think it’s just that if I felt like reading, I’d prefer to pick up a physical book rather than “play” one on my PC or Nintendo Switch....

After being stuck in development hell for years, DC fans will finally get a chance to see a live-action The Flash movie in 2022.
