Ever since Avengers: Endgame, the Avengers have indeed been disassembled. With most of the team either dead or retired, the lineup for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes remains in question, even as new characters join the MCU regularly. We’ve seen Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s Contessa gathering heroes such as Yelena Belova and USAgent, presumably to join the Thunderbolts. But which Avengers will stand up to Kang the Conqueror? The famously spoiler-prone Mark Ruffalo may have let one new member slip while doing press for the latest MCU series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law....

Marvel Champions hasn’t even been out for a year yet, but players are already hungry for more content. Fantasy Flight LCGs have a reputation of putting out new content on a monthly basis, so the wait for the first major expansion has been painful for some players. Luckily, there are now plenty of details about the Rise of the Red Skull to start tearing through. The Marvel Champions expansion was unofficially revealed at a retailer summit last month, but last week’s product reveal stream made things official....

Disney+ is set to play a huge role in the MCU’s Phase Four with Marvel Studios now looking to bring at least 9 original productions to Disney’s streaming platform over the next couple of years. Of course, after Marvel took an involuntary hiatus from movie theaters for nearly two years, whatever ends up being released on streaming becomes even more important to the superhero genre as a whole. There’s very little time to go until the first batch of MCU miniseries start making their way over to Disney+, with Wandavision premiering on January 21, 2021, only to be followed by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on March 19 and Loki in May....

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier returned Zemo to the MCU, bringing with him all the swagger of an Avengers-hating Baron hailing from Novi Grad, but a lot of that swagger was cut as his dance scene got chopped down. Daniel Brühl revealed as much following his transformation into a viral meme, and thus, the hashtags began to flood in, #ReleaseTheZemoCut. Marvel listened, and right before tomorrow’s episode, debuted the fully-fledged dance number with Zemo’s awkward fist jabs and smirks....

BioWare knew from the start that they wanted Mass Effect to be a franchise about tough choices. Unlike Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic where your decisions often came down to whether or not you wanted to be “good” or “bad,” BioWare wanted Mass Effect to be the kind of game where you were rarely sure what the right decision was (if one even exists). Granted, the Mass Effect franchise sometimes struggled to achieve that lofty goal, but many of the best moments in Mass Effect history come down to a tough choice that leaves you staring at the screen wondering what to do....

The Mass Effect Remastered Trilogy is looking more likely than ever. For fans who have been waiting since a BioWare employee hinted at a remaster on the NeoGaf forums as far back as 2014, the remaster has seemed like a distant hope, especially after the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Between EA’s planned “HD Title” due before the end of the fiscal year, a Mass Effect art book due for release at the start of 2021, and rumors that the remaster could be announced on November 7 2020, AKA N7 Day, it looks like 2020 might finally be the year fans have been waiting for....

Mass Effect: Andromeda releases a new “Andromeda Initiative” video, giving players eagerly anticipating the upcoming BioWare title another look at the game’s companions. The forthcoming RPG shooter from EA and BioWare, Mass Effect: Andromeda has many on their toes as it approaches its March 21 release date. With the recent release of an absolutely gorgeous cinematic trailer that introduced gamers to a slew of interesting characters and the funner announcement that Mass Effect: Andromeda would be partnering with toy company Funko for a game-based line of Pop Vinyl figurines, Andromeda has been making headlines almost daily....

Metroid Dread is an unexpected new installment in the original mainline series that goes all the way back to the Samus Aran’s debut on the NES in 1986. Picking up threads from Metroid, Metroid II, Super Metroid, and Metroid Fusion, the new 2D side-scroller follows Samus on the trail of the X parasite once again. After the Galactic Federation loses contact with an EMMI (Extraplanetary Multiform Mobile Identifiers) unit sent to investigate the planet ZDR, where the X parasite from Fusion is rumored to have survived, Samus takes on the mission herself, and quickly finds dangers and terrors unimaginable....

Microsoft Flight Simulator is a long-running series that lets players experience flying across the world and has received new updates to improve various locations and even add new ones. Previously, the developer Asobo Studio released a roadmap for a Flight Simulator UK update back in November. It would include a map update and new aerial imagery for the Wales, Scotland, and England in the UK. It was going to launch on February 11th, but those plans have changed....

As impressive as the technology Microsoft Flight Simulator uses to recreate real-world locations is, the initial launch has left room for improvement, whether it be due to missing landmarks or the occasional mistake. Modders have tried their hand at filling in the gaps, sprucing up locations like Washington D.C. in Microsoft Flight Simulator, but next week the game will receive an official expansion that will enhance its version of Japan....

Microsoft has full control over The Outer Worlds and will act as the official publisher of any “future iterations” according to a recent statement by Private Division. The statement was released following some confusion regarding who owns the publishing rights for the game. Take-Two Interactive, who own Private Division, the publishers of the original release of the game before Obsidian was purchased by Microsoft, had an earnings call where they mentioned that The Outer Worlds had sold over 3 million units....

Although it started from humble beginnings as a slightly buggy alpha made by just one person, Minecraft has since become the third best selling game of all time. Having raked in millions for the team behind it, Minecraft recently got a new owner in the form of Microsoft who forked over $2.5 billion to purchase developer Mojang Studios and their most well known title along with it. But with that lofty figure overhead, many players grew fearful of Minecraft’s future....

The long awaited premiere of Halo Infinite’s gameplay was showcased earlier today and fans could not be more excited. For only eight minutes of gameplay, quite a lot was shown in terms of visual aesthetic, sound design, weapon and enemy variance, and gameplay mechanics. It well and truly appears to be the most ambitious Halo game ever made. Though, the surprises did not stop there. Despite its short length, the campaign gameplay footage shown was incredibly impressive....

The fans of the Nintendo Monster Hunter titles will be given the chance to go on the hunt once more, as Monster Hunter XX is finally being localized and released in the West, under the new name of Monster Hunter Ultimate Generations. The announcement was made on the official Monster Hunter Twitter page earlier today that the highly anticipated game will be coming to Nintendo Switch on August 28th. Monster Hunter Ultimate Generations is an updated port of Monster Hunter Generations for the Nintendo 3DS....

Jason Blum needs no introduction to horror fans. His company, Blumhouse Productions, has produced or been associated with some of the biggest and most effective horror titles of the last 15 years: Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Sinister, The Purge, Unfriended, Happy Death Day, and the recent Halloween reboot are all standouts on the Blumhouse slate. Like every other studio in Hollywood, Blumhouse had to shutdown nearly all production in March as the coronavirus pandemic sank its teeth into the world....

When The Last of Us made its much-hyped debut on the 2011 Spike TV Video Game Awards, many viewers (myself included) wondered aloud whether the game’s protagonist was, in fact, an older version of Uncharted’s Nathan Drake. The bearded, grizzled figure in the trailer bore enough of a resemblance to Nolan North’s most famous character for the notion to seem at least plausible. Of course, we now know that is not the case....

A new character is joining the ever-growing roster for Jump Force. A couple of weeks ago it was revealed that Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho was being added to Jump Force, and now a slick new trailer is showing him off in-game. Jump Force is a fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco. It features a roster of characters from Shonen Jump, a weekly manga magazine that has been running since 1968 in Japan....

An interview between the Kingdom Hearts composers and Famitsu has been pulled for mysterious reasons. The only logical explanation would seem to point to some vague criticism the musicians made about working on the series. The interview between Famitsu and composers Yoko Shimomura, Takeharu Ishimoto, and Tsuyoshi Sekito was conducted to promote the upcoming release of a new Kingdom Hearts soundtrack that includes original music created for Kingdom Hearts 3. The interview was published on October 12 but has since been taken down....
