Some series have endured through console generations and entire decades with new entries in the Pokemon and Assassin’s Creed franchises always seeming inevitable, while a little series called Call of Duty has become an annual release....
Christmas will come early for those anxiously awaiting new footage for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Director of Kojima Productions, Hideo Kojima, has recently made it public that the developers of the game will release early footage of the franchise spinoff before E3. What’s in store for us? A Dark Raiden perhaps. Through the recent series of news encompassing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Tatsuya Minami (CEO of Platinum Games) and producer Atsushi Inaba had announced that Revengeance would make a grand appearance at E3 2012 though we know not what that could entail....

Michael B. Jordan penned a moving tribute to his Black Panther co-star Chadwick Boseman on his official Instagram account. Boseman passed away on Friday after a four-year battle against colon cancer. Before Michael B. Jordan portrayed Erik “Killmonger” Stevens opposite Chadwick Boseman in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, both actors were tied together through a role they played in the ABC soap opera All My Children. In 2003, Boseman was cast as Reggie Porter and portrayed for the character for one week before being let go after voicing his concerns about the stereotypical nature of the role....

It would appear that Minecraft is hard at work maintaining its title as the single most influential video game of all time, especially with its impact on video streaming platforms like YouTube. And yet, the Australian director hasn’t stepped foot in a spooky house since 2016’s The Conjuring 2....
Fast and Furious is all about family. It’s the cheesy message that has underpinned much of the ridiculous action franchise. What began as a humble drama about street racing has evolved into an obscenely over-the-top blockbuster that is fully aware of its own stupidity. There is no foreseeable limit for this series, with the next instalment seemingly going to space before the credits roll. Yep, they’ll be fighting aliens before we know it....

The Kingdom Hearts series on its face appears to be a standard action-adventure JRPG, where mashing the attack button will generally carry a player through every enemy they go up against. However, veteran players may note that while more standard enemies like Kingdom Hearts 2’s Armored Knight Heartless stand out among the others, few are quite as entertaining as creatures like White Mushrooms. Appearing only in the first game, the White Mushrooms are the first puzzle enemies that players will find in Kingdom Hearts with their gimmicks being a key to unlocking some of the best weapons in the game....
Fans learned the meaning of hurt when Kingdom Hearts Re:coded released on store shelves 10 years ago. The DS title underwhelmed, but has a small amount of fans within the community. Re:coded is an impressive example of how you can use the DS’s hardware to the fullest. It’s an accurate 3D representation of what the big boy PS2 games are like, with impressive renders that all ran at 60FPS. Re:coded also played around with the conventions of Kingdom Hearts....
It’s no secret that many fans were not happy with the way The Last of Us 2’s plot played out. Upset about the fate of certain characters, many directed their anger at newcomer Abby, and beyond that, Laura Bailey, the voice actor behind the role. Fans have taken their hate for Abby in The Last of Us 2 to an extreme, sending disturbing death threats to Bailey because of how much they dislike the character she plays in the game....
Naughty Dog’s controversial game, The Last of Us 2, has been out for almost a month now, and fans are getting treated with unique and interesting behind-the-scenes facts, directly from the game developers themselves. For example, the studio recently revealed how they performed one of the game’s best visual boss fights, while using an untraditional style of motion capture, or mocap for short. Now some of the actors are also weighing in, taking to Twitter to give fans a closer look at some of the more memorable scenes within the game....
The latest episode of the Pokemon Sun and Moon anime debuted in Japan on December 9, 2018 with the title, “The Lighting Bolt that Severs the Wind! Its Name is Zeraora!!” But even though this episode features the Electric-type legendary Zeraora, what drew many fans’ attention was Ash’s apparel and countenance. Early in the Pokemon episode, long-running protagonist Ash Ketchum sports a blue shirt that depicts a Surfing Pikachu. This throwback to the Pokemon TCG was welcomed by fans, but that’s not all that occurs in this scene....
