According to PC Invasion, Konami Amusement, a subsidiary of Konami Holdings Corporation, has begun accepting preorders for its new gaming PCs. The C300, C700 and C700+ are expected to begin shipping at the end of September. Konami, the twentieth-largest game company, is historically known for traditional gaming products like slot machines and arcade cabinets. Its video games include Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Castlevania, Contra, Frogger, Gradius, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Suikoden, and Pro Evolution Soccer....

Christmas proved to be a boon for Pokemon fans and the franchise. The latest movie Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle opened in Japan on Christmas Day and ended the weekend among the top three in the box office, closing out 2020 on a high note for the beloved franchise. Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train took the No. 1 spot and finished the holiday weekend on top for an 11th straight week followed by Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle, which slid into second place in its opening weekend....

A new leak claims that Tales from the Borderlands is set to return in a new Redux form. Telltale Games is back under new management. While this might mean that the formerly crunch-heavy development studio will no longer rely on devouring employees whole in order to produce games, it might also mean that we’ll get new versions of games from Telltale’s library. A leak posted to the Gaming Leaks subreddit suggests that Tales from the Borderlands Redux is on the way with new content and a brand new epilogue....

So far, 2015 has been a great year to be a fan of Mad Max. It seems sometime soon, Marvel’s Avengers will announce Black Panther’s inclusion into the game. Crystal Dynamics — Marvel’s Avengers’ developer — revealed the character’s icon near the beginning of its third Marvel’s Avengers War Table stream. It came just after a moment of silence was held in honor of Chadwick Boseman. Alongside Black Panther’s icon, a special message appeared. According to it, Black Panther was supposed to make an appearance during the third Marvel’s Avengers War Table....

Capcom has unleashed a slew of new information on the upcoming crossover fighter Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite, as well as a story trailer. The new Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite trailer fleshes out the game’s plot by introducing the story’s major players, while also explaining the reason why all of these heroes and villains are duking it out in the first place. The facial animations in Mass Effect: Andromeda have been the subject of mockery and ridicule in the recent past, with many bashing characters’ expressions, shoddy transitions and body movements, and the seemingly stock, stiff dialogue. But now, there may be an explanation to the abundance of visual issues: BioWare apparently outsourced animations to various other studios. Gaming historian Liam Robertson, known on YouTube as the “Game History Guy,” recently spoke with a few BioWare employees, who revealed that the company sought out external studios to create facial animations for Mass Effect: Andromeda....
