Crystal Dynamics showcased a ton of content coming to Marvel’s Avengers when it releases this fall, ranging from new locations like the Ant Hill, new factions like (former?) SHIELD agents and Inhumans, and much more. There’s a lot to unpack, but it’s clear that the game has taken some strides forward. During all of this, the developer did take a moment to explain its approach to skins. Seemingly based mostly on the comic book runs, there’s roughly a dozen or so skins for each character that nod to their history....

Hasbro has confirmed that at least one of its longstanding and beloved game pieces will be removed from Monopoly following an online vote featuring over four million submissions. Hasbro kicked off 2017 with a large-scale initiative that allowed fans of its Monopoly line of board games to vote for which of its eight player-used pieces would remain as part of the retail package. Despite holding back on an official announcement of which pieces have made the final cut – opting instead to save that information for World Monopoly Day on March 19, 2017 – the company has taken the liberty of confirming at least one piece that will be shifted out of rotation in the future....

Bandai Namco has announced that Jump Force Deluxe Edition will be heading to the Nintendo Switch this August. Releasing on August 27 in Japan and August 28 for Europe and North America, the game will retail for $49.99 and include most of the DLC released for the previous versions (PC, PS4, Xbox One). For whatever reason, season two of the DLC will not be included. The release date trailer shows footage of the game that is likely running on PC....

A blow has been struck to the launch window of the PS5, as Kena: Bridge of Spirits has been pushed back to Q1 2021. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an upcoming action-adventure game for PC, PS4, and PS5. The schedule for the long-awaited League of Legends Worlds 2020 was recently announced during Tencent’s annual Esports Conference. The dates for all five stages are included in the schedule. Worlds 2020 is set to begin September 25 and conclude with a Halloween finish on October 31. The event in its entirety will be played exclusively in Shanghai in a “bubble system” of sorts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The finals will be played in the Pudong Soccer Stadium in Shanghai....
